Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use ReSync, run by Cathrine Naser (ABN 81 492 472 807), trading as ReSync. By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded ReSync from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What ReSync is, and isn't
ReSync is a self-help planning, journaling and wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. The ReSync Companion is an AI. It is not a therapist, psychologist or doctor, and it can make mistakes. Always talk to a qualified health professional about your health, medication or mental health.
Your account
You must be 16 or older to use ReSync. You're responsible for keeping your device and sign-in secure. Please give accurate information so your plan works well.
ReSync Plus subscriptions
- ReSync Plus is available as a yearly subscription (A$69.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) or a monthly subscription (A$9.99 per month). Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Companion message limits apply: 50 messages a day on Plus and 3 messages a week on the free plan.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse ReSync. That includes trying to break or reverse-engineer it, using it to harm others, or trying to get the Companion to produce harmful content.
Your content
Your check-ins, tasks and journal entries belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide ReSync to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The ReSync name, logo, design and content belong to us. You may use the app for your personal use only.
Changes and availability
We may update ReSync or these terms. If we make a meaningful change to the terms, we'll let you know in the app. We try to keep ReSync running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app or the Companion.
Ending your use
You can stop using ReSync and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that seriously break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
